NICOTINE - What is going on?

We were told that nicotine is extremely addictive and a harmful carcinogen. Yet, in the 1970s, the heads of all tobacco companies were subpoenaed by Congress and each of them swore under oath that nicotine is neither of those things. In 2017, the head of the FDA said the same thing.

Many people have wondered about that ever since, assuming that the tobacco CEOs lied - and that they were not punished for doing so.

But what if it wasn't the under-oath CEOs who lied?

Certainly, cigarettes are harmful... they are extremely addictive and carcinogenic. But there are over 200 chemical additives in each cigarette, 15 of which are pyrazines - and pyrazines are both highly carcinogenic and extremely addictive. Hmmmmm... Are you smelling more than cigarette smoke...?
